Fishing in Gold Beach
Turtle Rock Resort is on Hunter Creek, and is open to Chinook fishing from October to December and steelhead from January to March. A good year round surf perch fishing spot is a five-minute walk from Turtle Rock Resort.

The legendary Rogue River known for its salmon and steelhead runs, trout and a variety of other sport fish is 2.5 miles from Turtle Rock Resort. There is also year round ocean bottom fishing, deep-sea charters, and crabbing. Gold Beach has many local guides and for the angling purist there is also fly fishing.
