Hunter Creek
Turtle Rock is located on the banks of Hunter Creek which ebbs and flows with the tides varying from a tiny stream to a fast flowing creek on it’s way to the ocean. During the summer it’s a sand barred lake that acts as a fish hatchery with thousands of silver fingerlings sparkling as they leap into the air.
Swimming holes sometimes form on the beach and are washed away with the winter storms. Hunter Creek is a fascinating estuarine environment that changes by the hour. Come and watch in awe the beauty of nature. Call for more information: 800-353-9754 [Top]
